Innovative lending platform mysherpas is pleased to announce that they have achieved SOC 1 (System and Organization Controls) Type 1 certification. The rigorous auditing and reporting process, which is designed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), focused on the business processes and IT general computer controls used by mysherpas. Ultimately, this certification attests to the effectiveness of the design and controls implemented by mysherpas to serve their clients.

Channeling the momentum from this certification, mysherpas plans to continue their partnership with CyberGuard Advantage. Their next goal is to achieve SOC 1 Type 2 certification in September of 2025, and subsequently SOC 2, which will verify their compliance with the trust services criteria of security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
